ISO 8573-1 Class 0 Compressed Air

Oil-free air compressors are often required to comply with industry standards such as ISO 8573-1, especially in applications where air purity and safety are critical.

Compressed air purity classes for particles

The ISO standard is divided into three main groups of contaminants:

  • Solid particulates
  • Water (both liquid and vapour)
  • Oil (both aerosols and vapour)
